Lieutenant Colonel BRYAN P. EWING Sr.

Lt. Col. Bryan P. Ewing Sr. is the Commander, 349th Recruiting Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. He oversees eight flights and Air Force liaisons at two Military Entrance Processing Stations consisting of 94 active duty and four civilian personnel, encompassing approximately 183,000 square miles spread throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, western Missouri and western Arkansas. The squadron partners with military, civic, educational and community organizations to enhance Air Force awareness and to recruit high-quality members into enlisted and officer career paths. Its mission is to inspire, engage and recruit future Airmen to deliver airpower for America. Prior to serving as the 349th RCS commander, Lieutenant Colonel Ewing served as the 332nd Recruiting Squadron commander, where directed 10 flights comprised of 85 military and civilian personnel covering 92,000 square miles throughout eight states in the Midwest and Southern United
States.

Lieutenant Colonel Ewing enlisted in the Air Force in 1996 and served nine years as an enlisted contracting professional. He was commissioned as a distinguished graduate of the OTS program at Maxwell AFB, Ala. After receiving his commission, he has successfully completed a wide range of assignments to include operational and systems level contracting officer, instructor and Executive Officer for the Air and Space Basic Course at Maxwell AFB, Ala, staff officer for Pacific Air Forces, and squadron command at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
