Airman overcomes alopecia journey by motivating others to be resilient
Charles Lyles, right, helps man a booth with recruiter Tech. Sgt. David Toro-Garcia, both of the 348th Recruiting Squadron, at a nursing career fair at Gonzaga University Oct. 28, 2022 in Spokane Washington. It has been a long journey for the Airmen to feel confident in public after being diagnosed with alopecia in 2006 but now Lyles is an author and a motivational speaker who shares how he became resilient by finding support and accepting his condition.
