Lieutenant Colonel DARIN E. LUPINI

Lt. Col. Darin Lupini is the Commander, 318th Recruiting Squadron, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. As the commander, he leads a highly skilled team of 79 recruiters and support personnel tasked with inspiring, engaging and recruiting health professions and line officers from a 1.2 million square mile area of responsibility encompassing 21 Northeastern states, the District of Columbia and Europe. The 318th RCS is responsible for the accession of high-quality recruits to meet Air Force officer accession requirements, meeting Air Force Health Professions and Line Officer accession requirements in the areas of physicians, dentists, nurses, biomedical services corps, rated and non-rated officers.
 
Lieutenant Colonel Lupini entered the Air Force in 2003 after obtaining his commission through the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lieutenant Colonel Lupini is a Joint Qualified Officer who has served in both tactical and operational command and control positions.
 
Lieutenant Colonel Lupini is a Senior Air Battle Manager and as accumulated more than 2,200 flight hours (more than 1,000 combat hours) in the E3B/C Sentry.
