Air Force salutes National Training Center

Lt. Col. Jeffrey J. Waters, 333rd Recruiting Squadron commander, presents an Air Force Recruiting Salutes plaque to the National Training Center in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 25. The prestigious award is given to deserving individuals or businesses who have contributed to the success of the Air Force recruiting mission. The National Training Center assisted the local recruiting flight, directed by Master Sgt. Carmelo Vega, to conduct more than 30 Physical Ability and Stamina Tests for special operations applicants this year at no cost. The center’s contribution saved the 333rd RCS more than $500 in its mission of recruiting the right people for the right job. As Air Force recruiters work to find the right people for special operations jobs, the support of institutions such as the National Training Center is vital to our nation and winning the war on global terrorism.
