In a case of joint recruiting at its finest, Master Sgt. Christopher Dowlearn was presented with a Navy Achievement Medal April 17 by Cmdr. Ronnie Candiloro, commanding officer of the Navy Recruiting District in Portland, Ore. Dowlearn, of the 361st Recruiting Squadron, sent four disqualified Air Force applicants to the Navy recruiting office; all four qualified and entered the Navy’s Delayed Enlistment Program.
