Lieutenant Colonel SAMUEL D. SCHINDLER

Lieutenant Colonel Samuel D. Schindler is the commander, 330th Recruiting Squadron, San Antonio, Texas. He commands a team of 124 Special Warfare recruiters who scout, develop, and guide future Special Warfare and Combat Support Airmen to their combat calling. The 330th Recruiting Squadron is the largest squadron within Air Force Recruiting Service and its mission spans the entire country.

​Lt. Col. Schindler was born in Kimball, Nebraska. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1995 as a combat control specialist and commissioned via Officer Training School in February 2006. He has served in a variety of special warfare assignments. Prior to his current position, he served as the director of operations, 26th Special Tactics Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M.
