Lieutenant Colonel Stone G. Brooks

Lt. Col. Stone G. Brooks is the Commander, 311th Recruiting Squadron, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He leads 95 highly effective active duty Airmen and 12 civilians specialists across 8 flights and 60 recruiting offices in the 69,000 square mile region of Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia. The mission of the 311th is to inspire, engage and recruit future Airmen and Guardians.

Lt. Col. Brooks earned his commission as a second lieutenant through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Maryland and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer and Information Science in 2003. Commissioned a second lieutenant in June of 2003, he reported to the 3rd Combat Communication Group in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for combat communication indoctrination.
