The 372nd Recruiting Group, of Headquarters Air Force Recruiting Service and commanded by Col. Layne D. Trosper, directs the recruiting activities of eight regional Health Profession flights, and nine squadrons. The group's nine recruiting squadrons include the 343rd RCS, 347th RCS, 348th RCS, 361st RCS, 362nd RCS, 364th RCS, 367th RCS, 368th RCS and 369th RCS. Chief Master Sergeant Frank W. Staud is the group superintendent. The 372nd RCG is situated in 314 recruiting offices in 24 western states including Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Rim, covering more than 4,151,325 square miles in the U.S. western region to include Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming as well as Alaska, Guam, Hawaii and Japan.
Group headquarters is located on Hill Air Force Base, Layton, Utah. Its mission is to inspire, engage and recruit future Airmen to deliver airpower for America.
