Speedy ceremony

Brig. Gen. Robert C. Kane conducts a public swearing-in ceremony for 337th Recruiting Squadron Delayed Entry Program members Oct. 11 during the Bank of America 500 NASCAR race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. The 18th Air Force vice commander from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., personally greeted each of the 16 future Airmen and the families attending the ceremony, and wished the Airmen well in their careers. The ceremony drew the attention of race fans with whom 337th recruiters and DEP members gladly shared Air Force information. Tours of the race pit, close views of the race cars and meeting the drivers proved a morale booster for all the 337th RCS members at the event. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Roberto Cruz)
