Avionics Airman returns to EAA AirVenture to inspire next generation
Youth get a hands-on experience in electronics during an interactive military flight presentation by Staff. Sgt. Lydia Whitney, an F-16 Avionics Craftsman with the 756th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s GirlVenture Camp in OshKosh, Wisconsin, July 26, 2021. She supported the Air Force recruiting mission by participating in the We Are All Recruiters program to mentor the youth at the camp where she was first inspired to start a career in aviation. Airmen who are interested in using permissive temporary duty status to tell their unique story to the next generation can learn more about WEAR at www.recruiting.af.mil/WEAR.
