A student from the Air Force's AIM HIGH Flight Academy gets ready to fly solo as the culmination of a three-week aviation course during the Summer 2021 at an airfield in Milton, Florida. Youth who attended the academy were exposed to the fundamentals of flight and toured military aircraft while working with aviator mentors. The Air Force is currently accepting applications for Summer 2022 until Nov. 5, 2021. Full time students, between the ages of 16-23 who have an interest in aviation, can learn more information and apply by visiting www.aimhighflightacademy.com. The program is also on Instagram with the handle @AIM_HIGH_flight_academy. (Courtesy photo)
