Chief Master Sergeant Courtney W. Strickler

Chief Master Sgt. Courtney W. Strickler is the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 367th Recruiting Group, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. As the Group Senior Enlisted Leader, she executes the commander’s intent and is responsible for advising on all aspects of employment, training, readiness, resilience, and development for more than 450 military personnel at 240 locations worldwide. The Group is responsible for all accessions required to meet reserve readiness requirements. She also advises the commander on requirements at the direction of Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command recruiting entities and higher Headquarters liaison teams, to include integration optimization and talent management.

Chief Master Sgt. Strickler entered the Air Force in 2003 and has served in various statuses. She spent 11 years on Active Duty as a F-15 C/D/E and MQ-1 Crew Chief and Instructor stationed across the globe. She deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom on two occasions. In 2013, she transitioned to the Air Force Reserve as a Traditional Reservist at Peterson AFB, Colorado, where she assisted the Maintenance Group as a Career Advisor and was then selected as the First Sergeant of the 302nd Logistics Readiness Squadron and Communication Squadron. She completed her Traditional Reservist role as an Aircraft Maintenance Flight Chief, where she then transitioned into an Individual Mobilized Augmentee (IMA) position at HQ Air Reserve Personnel Center. In this new role, she cross-trained into the personnel career field as the IMA to the Superintendent of the Accessions Division. In 2018, Chief Master Sgt. Strickler was hired into the Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) program as the Superintendent of Force Development that oversaw 25 Major Command, Numbered Air Force, and MAJCOM Functional Manager boards and development teams, including the Command Chief Screening Board, STEP II, and Enlisted Development Education Board. Prior to serving in her current position, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the Assignments Directorate at Air Reserve Personnel Center for five divisions that are responsible for areas of assignments, officer/enlisted accessions, force development, developmental education, joint officer management, special pay and incentives, medical incentives programs, participating and non-participating individual ready reserve members and military training for the IMA program.
